Available until 45 days before arrival, this privileged stay is also fully prepaid and cannot be cancelled or modified.

Flexible Rate

Because some plans naturally evolve, this option offers greater flexibility.

A deposit of 50% of the total stay (or 100% for one-night stays) is required at the time of booking.

Your reservation may then be modified or cancelled according to the following conditions:

• More than 15 days before arrival:
  a cancellation fee of 10% of the total stay applies.
  Depending on availability, we may also be able to postpone your stay within the following 12 months (one postponement only).
• Between 15 and 4 days before arrival: the deposit (50%) remains due.
• Within 4 days of arrival: the full amount of the stay becomes payable.

If you have chosen the optional Safebooking cancellation insurance when making your reservation, we kindly ask you to contact the insurer directly in the event of cancellation. We will, of course, provide any invoice required for your claim upon request.

This option offers greater peace of mind while retaining a degree of flexibility, with the reassurance of additional protection should you wish to take advantage of it.

OUR STAYS IN DETAIL:

 Rates are quoted for (Junior) Suites and include dinner (excluding drinks) and breakfast, or breakfast only for Évasion Rooms, based on double occupancy.

Access to our Spa (reserved for guests aged 16 and over) is available every day during a dedicated shared time slot, which will be communicated in your pre-arrival message.

Our rates are offered as complete packages and cannot be separated into individual services. Any unused part of your stay or package cannot be refunded.

Any stay that has begun remains payable in full.

Rates do not include the local tourist tax (€1.45 per person, per night) or our environmental contribution (€1 per person, per night), which is donated to organisations dedicated to protecting the natural world.

The following festive supplements apply:

• Christmas Eve dinner: +€35 per person
• New Year’s Eve dinner: +€50 per person, including a celebratory aperitif and a few additional surprises.

Nestled in one of Europe’s last great volcanic wildernesses, Europe’s Volcanic House offers the exclusive use of instants d’Absolu for those wishing to gather in complete privacy, surrounded by nature and cared for with quiet attention.

Designed for stays of two nights or more, and welcoming up to twelve guests, your private retreat includes:

• Wild-to-Table dinners inspired by the surrounding volcanic landscapes, accompanied by carefully selected wines and beverages.
• Unhurried mornings and generous breakfasts.
• Exclusive access to the Spa, including our signature Bain de Jouvence, accompanied by deeply restorative sound frequencies.
• Silence.
• Star-filled skies.
• The freedom to do everything… or absolutely nothing.

Private explorations of the volcanic highlands, bespoke experiences and wellness treatments may also be arranged to create a stay entirely your own.

BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS:

To allow us to prepare your exclusive stay with the care and attention it deserves, bookings for Europe’s Volcanic House follow specific terms.

• A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
• The remaining 50% balance is payable one month before arrival.
• For reservations made within one month of arrival, the full amount is payable at the time of booking.

Only any additional services or extras will be settled upon departure.

Cancellation Policy

• More than 90 days before arrival: a cancellation fee of 10% of the total reservation applies.
• Between 89 and 30 days before arrival: 50% of the total reservation is payable.
• 29 days or less before arrival: the full amount of the reservation becomes payable.
• No-show: the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

Because our house at the edge of Europe’s volcanic wilderness requires significant preparation and careful organisation, all stays are offered as complete packages. Rates are therefore indivisible and cannot be broken down into individual services. Any unused part of the stay cannot be refunded.

Reservations made through travel advisors or intermediary travel professionals are always payable in advance.

Gift vouchers are issued with a clearly stated validity period at the time of purchase. Any extension or postponement conditions are specified with each individual offer.

 

A FINAL NOTE:

Room reservations are independent from the availability of optional activities and additional experiences, which are subject to separate booking conditions.

Should one of these experiences be unavailable, this does not constitute grounds for cancelling your accommodation.
